INSTALLATION

1. Insert MIA CD 1 into your CD-ROM drive
2. MIA's Launcher program should Autorun. If your CD-ROM drive is not set-up to autorun compact discs, please run the Setup.exe on the MIA CD.
3. Click on the INSTALL GAME option on the MIA Launcher menu to run the installation program.
4. The Set-up program will guide you through the installation of MIA using a series of on-screen step-by-step instructions.

PLEASE NOTE that MIA requires DirectX version 5.2 or later to run, so you are advised to install DirectX during the set-up if it is not already installed on your PC. MIA will not run without DirectX 5.2 or later installed.

Running MIA

When installation is complete, a shortcut to MIA will appear on your Start bar. Selecting MIA from the Start bar runs the MIA Launcher program again.

MIA Launcher program options:

PLAY MIA

Runs the single player game.

 

CHANGE VIDEO DRIVER

The first time you play MIA, a profile program will automatically determine the graphics options available for your PC and list these in a table with the best option at the top. If you change your graphics hardware, we recommend that you change your video driver by selecting another option from the drivers list and clicking OK.

 

INSTALL DIRECTX

MIA requires DirectX 5.2 or later to run. To check if you have DirectX installed click on INSTALL DIRECTX and this will run the DirectX set-up program which checks for installed components.

 

UNINSTALL GAME

Removes MIA from your machine.

 

EXIT

Quits MIA, following confirming box, and returns you to Windows« 95.
